Petition Recipients:
CT Gov. John G Rowland
Tobacco Industry Fraud &
Various State Taxes
Dear Governor Rowland,
I am sending you this second Petition because you chose to completely ignore the first one
sent to you on the same subject.
I will keep both you and the topic of Tobacco industry Fraud & False Claims in the
spotlight for as long as it takes until you simply do the right thing and act upon them.
RB#6942-An Act Concerning the Connecticut False Claims Act, that I had introduced to the
CT legislature was designed to provide CT with a powerful platform from which to obtain
information about fraudulent business practices and false claims conducted within CT.
Attorney General Blumenthal spoke in vigorous favor of this bill when it was originally
introduced as HB5602 and has submitted letters of recommendation each legislative session
it hasn't passed, as I am informed.
I am once again asking for your support for this important legislation.
I encourage everyone who reads this Petition, regardless of the state they are from, as a
message to their own politicians who are not keeping the best interests of their taxpayers
in mind by ignoring issues of tobacco industry Fraud & False Claims in respect to
various Taxes.
State Income Taxes and State Sales Taxes are being defrauded in each of the 50 states.
By signing this Petition, you are instructing your Governors to act upon these issues of
tobacco industry Fraud & False Claims.
