Gov. Rowland and every state representative and state senator has been sent every Press Release issued by The Shuster Project that has detailed the extent to which tobacco industry state Income Tax Fraud has been conducted in Connecticut, yet these 'elected' public officials continue to choose to do nothing to stop it from continuing.

The Shuster Project has begun to detail how the tobacco companies impact the state of Connecticut (and every other state) and those retail and wholesale businesses that sell cigarettes and tobacco products with state Sales Tax Fraud which has cost the state of Connecticut in excess of $800 MILLION to $1 BILLION DOLLARS in state Sales Tax Revenues going back over 35 years ...

The jury in Florida that ordered the $145 BILLION DOLLAR award never had a clue these tobacco industry crimes are occurring.

Please take a moment to sign this Petition as a statement that MORE needs to be looked into in the area of fraudulent tobacco industry BUSINESS PRACTICES than is presently being done sofar.

BILLIONS OF DOLLARS are being stolen and nothing is being done about it.

The new Revenue Streams that will be created in each and every state in the country by 'corrections' to the tobacco industry Fraud & False Claims crimes will be generated by those people purchasing cigarettes!

BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in states revenues will be realized and can go towards states Medicare for the elderly, disabled, needy and can also go towards debt retirement, municipalities and education in addition to a long list of other worthwhile necessities.

To ignore issues of tobacco industry Fraud & False Claims crimes when simple 'corrections' can bring about such windfall state Sales Tax Revenues presently being denied, defrauded and 'debunked' is unfortunate and is just sheer negligence on the part of these and other 'elected' public officials that continue to do nothing about this.
