Letter to Rebecca Young - 1/28/04
This letter was written to Rebecca Young in response to an E-mail received at "The Shuster Project" by Care2.com, as part of our membership there, which reflects our committment to assist in various social activist causes.
Dear Rebecca, The
Award-winning "The Shuster Project" has, in great detail, brought to the
attention of Presidents Clinton and Bush the methods by which the tobacco companies have
defrauded tens of BILLIONS of state and federal income tax dollars and states' sales tax
revenue dollars, as the result of tobacco industry fraud and false claims crimes dating
back to the early 70's, and which continue, unabated, today! The
Shuster Project" has also brought these crimes to the attention of the IRS, every
State Attorney General, various Governors and state legislators ... all of whom continue
to ignore the various Alerts and Press Releases they were given first review of going back
to May 14th of 1999, when "The Shuster Project" first launched it's web site. "The
Shuster Project" is now at the stage of development whereby we are ready to have
published our first book related to tobacco industry fraud and false claims crimes. You
are encourage to visit the Award-winning "The Shuster Project" web site at: http://www.rxshuster.org/ and make available to your
members both the web address of our Organization and the work which we are doing to expose
tobacco industry fraud and false claims crimes. We
have woefully come to realize that it is going to take the reactions of the general public
in order for anything to be addressed, in terms of tobacco industry fraud and false claims
crimes, given the huge volume of elected and appointed officials who choose to ignore
these significant crimes either out of fear of the tobacco companies or else out of a fear
that their constituents will discover that they have been appraised of these crimes and
that their "representatives" continue to choose to allow these crimes to
continue at both the expense of the smoking AND the non-smoking public. We, at "The Shuster Project," will, of course, be more than pleased to provide you with any "editorial" commentary that you may wish to publish and provide to your members at any time. Sincerely, 1/28/04
