Thank you for contacting the National PTA with your request. We appreciate
you taking the time to make us aware of your products and services

However, National PTA does not promote any commercial products or services
directly to our membership.

You may be interested in exhibiting your products and services at the
National PTA Annual Convention - it provides you with an opportunity to
reach National PTA members directly. Each year, more than 2,000 PTA leaders,
representing all 50 states, the District of Columbia, United States Virgin
Islands, and the European and Pacific Congresses in the Department of
Defense Schools attend the event. If you are interested in learning more
about the 105th Annual Convention - to be held in Baltimore, Maryland, June
23-26, 2001 - as of August 2000 you can find the Exhibitors Prospectus in
the Annual Convention area of the National PTA website
http://www.pta.org/aconvent/index.htm.

Additionally if you are interested in presenting a workshop at our Annual
Convention. We have recently changed the process for selecting speakers for
this event. As of the week of August 7th, you can find a Call for
Presentations available in the Annual Convention area of the National PTA
website (http://www.pta.org). The form will appear in PDF (portable document
format) - information on viewing and printing the piece will be included as
well. 

Topics areas to be considered include: Parent Involvement, Safe/Nurturing
Environments for Children, School Funding, Leadership Skills in the
Not-for-Profit Environment, Communications/Marketing, Organizational
Management, and Membership Issues. All necessary information to submit a
proposal for a workshop (including more topic specifics) will be detailed in
the document. 

The deadline for submitting proposals to the National PTA office is October
2, 2000. Selected proposal authors will be notified by January 1, 2001.
Inquiries about proposal status prior to January 1st will not receive
replies.
