To The National PTA Office,

As the Executive Director of The Shuster Project, I'd like to introduce you to our Connecticut-based web site that addresses issues of tobacco industry Fraud & False Claims including, but not limited to, tobacco industry state and federal Income Tax Fraud, state Sales Tax Fraud, Antitrust violations and much more.

We use actual tobacco company documents, forms, contracts, advertising materials and much more to illustrate examples of this fraud and also how the tobacco companies lure children into smoking by offering such premiums as FRISBEES, AUDIO TAPES, VIDEO TAPES, NECK PENS, T-SHIRTS, PLASTIC CUPS, PLAYING CARDS, RETRACTABLE HAIR BRUSHES, GIRLS CAR TRAVEL KITS, and dozens of other "freebies."

I have over 17+ years of experience within the tobacco industry and have an extensive knowledge of these issues and many others which impact not only children but women, the elderly, minorities and many other people.

The Shuster Project web site offers it's visitors Grassroots Efforts, Media Alert programs, Petitions to sign, Message Board sites to express their views and thoughts on tobacco issues and much more.

We also provide C.A.P.'s, (Citizens Action Programs), including our Public Speaker Program Offer whereby you submit some scheduling information and I will come out and speak to your school, PTA or organization on NON-health related issues of tobacco industry Fraud & False Claims within a 250 mile radius of Waterbury, Connecticut!

We recently launched our online broadcasting station, iCAT (internet Citizens Action Talk-PC), and I have begun producing audio programming to address these issues!

Visitors to The Shuster Project web site can access iCAT and actually send in program topic suggestions and I will put those suggestions on the air!

We also have an extensive CORRESPONDENCE section where you can see who in the State of Connecticut and across the country has been contacted by us regarding these issues.

The Shuster Project has also introduced legislation to the CT state legislature, RB6942, which addresses companies involved in Fraud & False Claims in Connecticut.

This legislation will empower the state of CT and assist them in recovering in excess of $1-$3 BILLION DOLLARS in lost state Income Tax Revenues and state Sales Tax Revenues defrauded by the tobacco companies going back over 45 years.

We have introduced this Bill THREE TIMES NOW and each time all of the legislators have allowed this Bill to sit and not be passed!

We encourage you to visit The Shuster Project at http://www.rxshuster.org and participate in our extensive interactive resources.

As the Fall season will soon arrive and the new School year fast approaches, you are also encouraged to distribute this correspondence among your member PTA's, allowing them the opportunity to sign up for our Public Speaker Program Offer as all requests are considered on a "first come first served" basis.

If there is anything else I can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

My contact information is near the bottom of my main web site entry page, making me one of the most accessible Executive Directors and CEO's of any tobacco issues web site on the Internet.

Sincerely,
RXShuster
