To: The National Education Association From: Robert X. Shuster Executive Director The Shuster Project http://www.rxshuster.org 177 Andrew Avenue Naugatuck, CT 06770 Email: rshus177@aol.com Phone: 203-723-9266 Fax: 801-705-3078Re: 1.) Bringing our NON-Health related Tobacco Industry Fraud & False Claims Issues Web site to your attention. 2.) Sending you this advance introduction to The Shuster Project prior to sending it to National Boards of Education. 3.) Encouraging you to visit The Shuster Project Web site to familiarize yourselves to business fraud issues you have never seen before. Ladies & Gentlemen, The Shuster Project. Web address: http://www.rxshuster.org In advance of sending this letter to the National Boards of Education to consider placing The Shuster Project Web site address into the databases of the schools around the country for use by students to be able to learn about a unique type of business fraud and its incredible negative financial impact on each and every state in the country, I wanted to give you the opportunity to learn about our Web site, our work and our mission for yourselves. If you review the Correspondence section, you will see we have contacted a large number of National Organizations. Some, including the NAACP and the ADA (Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee) are positioning themselves to assist us in making their memberships more aware of these crucial issues that negatively impact them. Although the Shuster Project Web site content is barely at 1/10th of 1% of planned content, already there is enough to have proposed legislation that is pending in the Connecticut legislature (Raised Bill #6942), a series of actions filed with the IRS for Tobacco Industry Income Tax Fraud and other content sure to startle you for its impact on an unsuspecting public, all .with nothing to do relative to standard health issue concerns. Our Grassroots Effort and Media Alert programs are slowly being checked out by visitors to our Web site and are an interesting way for young adults to make a difference relative to these crucial issues where many adults in positions of authority that have been made aware of these issues are hoping they will just go away. Our main page speaks to our Mission and profiles The Shuster Project adequately for you to get a specific understanding of its content, for our Web site is also a teaching site, as well. With an internal Chat room, which I personally moderate on specific days at specific times, members of the General Public, victimized Businesses, politicians, the Media and, now, you, have the opportunity to access the principal of the content in real time. I look forward to seeing you there. Sincerely, Robert X. Shuster Executive Director The Shuster Project http://www.rxshuster.org 11/16/1999 rshus177@aol.comP.S. This letter will be featured on my Web site. I will contact more organizations and groups giving them the same invitation(s) to participate, some again, some anew and the same access to my site to all. I know firsthand that some heads of organizations with private foibles will ignore receiving information which benefits the vast numbers of the members of their organizations merely to keep their foibles out of the spotlight should they otherwise do the right thing and get involved. As more people, organizations and politicians access my site, it is important that it is known who has been contacted and informed as to these NON-health related tobacco industry issues, their invitation to be updated and how the recipients of these notifications, including the media, have responded for the good of their memberships, readers and viewers.
