To: Peter Jennings - ABC News/World News Tonight - ABCNEWS.com Dear Peter, I was up early doing some Project work and I received an invitation, via email, to subscribe to a Peter Jennings World News Tonight newsletter. I went to the attached link and read some on him and World News Tonight. That made me think that perhaps you have never been contacted by my Project, The Shuster Project, which is making public for the first time issues of tobacco industry fraud & false claims unrelated to health issues. Within the materials contained about Peter Jennings it referred to him making news issues a priority that others may ignore. I've been contacting media outlets via 5 press releases thus far since May of 1999 relative to The Shuster Project (http://www.rxshuster.org) and detailing to them issues of tobacco industry fraud & false claims that result in the loss of BILLIONS of dollars annually to the 50 states in various tax revenues and income streams and 5 press releases have seemingly fallen on deaf ears. It's a total shame that the equivalent of a stadium full of people can keep a whole nation in the dark about crucial issues. I wonder if Peter Jennings will, now, address the issues of NON-health related tobacco industry fraud & false claims now that he has been introduced to them (via accessing my web site, The Shuster Project, at http://www.rxshuster.org)? Or will he be just another media personality that will ignore these crucial issues? I guess those are my questions... Sincerely, Robert X.
