An Open Invitation to the Media to participate, contribute and learn…

Each Press Release is clearly dated and displayed on The Shuster Project Web site.

This third Press Release from The Shuster Project / The New Dance Project is about the people negatively impacted by the Redlining practices of the tobacco companies, in addition to the present, new and future content of http://rxshuster.org.

This Press Release is also about the new mechanisms added to the site to make it absolutely interactive between any web-connected Media outlet, affected storeowner and the general public to The Shuster Project.

It’s about the people, generally ethnic minorities who will, in part, depend upon the attention to and coverage of this issue and the present and future Web site content, by the Media.

In order to realize their fair share of the hundreds of millions of dollars in annual “Contract Payments” and “special offers” provided to NON-redlined stores the ethnic minority storeowners are presently being denied, the Media has a responsibility to engage these issues.

To most Media outlets, the “Contract Payments” guide recently added to the Web site is new content for you, in addition to the Correspondence Section, of which this letter will also be added.

Other efforts, including a Grassroots effort, communication with the states Attorneys General, the U.S. Senators and select Congresspersons and direct communications with the most affected ethnic minority communities and their Organizations and their memberships are already underway.

Because we are revealing tobacco industry issues involving fraudulent policies, practices and procedures that have never been exposed before, it is understandable that they might be difficult to understand, at first.

But because my Web site is the first of it’s kind ever, it is also a “learning” site, a “teaching” site.

Each issue I have revealed and will reveal and display in the upcoming weeks and months, in my Web site, is explained in language the average person can understand.

In addition, I have now established a chat room in my site which, after some minor technical difficulties, is up and running.

I have established a schedule of one hour a day for three days a week to meet in the chat room with members of the Media and persons affected by the fraudulent policies, practices and procedures of the tobacco companies.

To every single television/radio News Director and/or newspaper Editor/News Director I say this to you…if there is any issue presently in my Web site that you feel needs explaining to you in order that you get a better understanding of it, the chat room is the place to go.

I will gladly discuss any present content of my site with you in the chat room at any of the scheduled times.

More scheduled times will be added as needed.

In addition, I am personally answering all emails being sent to me relative to any present content of my Web site.

These tools and methods of communication I have provided to the Media for your use should remove any hesitation any remaining Media outlets may have so that they can finally begin to inform their readers, listeners and viewers as to the unique issues The Shuster Project is revealing for the first time.

If there is any other tool or means of communication I have left out that prevents you from addressing these issues, please let me know.

Please feel free to display the Web address of The Shuster Project, http://RXShuster.org, so that your readers, listeners and viewers can participate and contribute in ways you are not even aware of, yet.

The challenge to address these issues will only continue to grow upon you, the Media, as the Web site continues to grow and is at just above approximately 1/16 of 1% planned content.

The Organizations presently contacted which represent the most negatively impacted ethnic minority and gender communities from the “Redlining” practices and policies of the tobacco companies are:

1.)    The NAACP

2.)    The Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee

3.)    The NOW Organization

4.)    The Organization of Chinese Americans, Inc.

5.)    The National Puerto Rican Coalition, Inc.

You can find the content of those letters in the Correspondence section of the Web site.

I look forward to meeting with more of you from the Media in the chat room and please feel free to continue to email me at any time.

I will also, with appropriate preparations, meet with any newspaper, radio or television persons anywhere and at any time and in any forum to discuss any present content of http://rxshuster.org.

I have taken all of the appropriate measures and established every possible mechanism for any responsible newsperson from any and all newspapers, radio and television to contact The Shuster Project on behalf of their readers, listeners and viewers.

The issues presently displayed on http://rxshuster.org and the content to be displayed in the coming weeks and months affects every person, smoker and non-smoker alike, in every town in every state in the country.

Merely viewing and understanding the present content will verify that.

Clearly, the rest lies with you to either address these present issues which alone involve over a Billion dollars waiting to be recovered, and the future content of http://rxshuster.org, or to ignore them and allow the Grassroots efforts and the several other efforts presently underway to encourage you into participation.

Sincerely,

Robert X. Shuster

The Shuster Project

P.S.

This letter will be posted on my Web site.

As more people, organizations, politicians and Media access my Web site, it is important that the following is made known:

1.)    Who has been contacted and informed as to these NON-health related tobacco industry issues.

2.)    That their invitation to participate and be updated relative to my Web site and these NON-health related tobacco industry issues has been sent to them and displayed on my Web site.

3.) How the recipients of these notifications have responded for the good of their memberships, readers, viewers and listeners.

This web site is equipped with the "Get 1 on 1" guest response system.
If I am in my office, you can contact me in "real time."
If I am out of my office you will be prompted to send me an e-mail.
I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
