Dear Senator Jepsen,

Thank you for your response relative to Raised Bill #6942 and the issues of tobacco industry fraud & false claims relative to the loss of enormous revenues to Connecticut as a result of that fraud.  I’d request / suggest that rather than waiting for this legislation to come before you that you take the initiative and dare to sponsor this legislation yourself and enlist the aid of your colleagues in order to achieve passage of this legislation.

You can find the Bill listed in my web site at http://www.rxshuster.org For far too long, now, this important piece of legislation has sat unpassed.  Connecticut loses approximately 11 MILLION DOLLARS alone each year in just one state tax revenue due to tobacco industry fraud.  There are dozens of tobacco industry fraud & false claims issues denying the state of Connecticut many more tens of MILLIONS of dollars per year.  There is another approximately 190 MILLION DOLLARS the state of Connecticut can recover in lost tax revenues of various categories and other revenue streams that can be generated annually if only Connecticut would act to recover them.

I’m doing everything I am able to, thusfar, to provide Connecticut with the interpretive knowledge of tobacco industry fraud & false claims issues, provide the resources via my web site and provide the willingness to go the distance to achieve the recovery of these “lost” revenues.  Are you? .....
