On occasion, The Shuster Project will continue to reach out to various "student" media outlets.

We do this despite the fact that our "focus" has shifted more towards the "teaching" aspect of our work, in part, as the result of the dismal record the 3,750+ "mainstream" media outlets have racked up by mysteriously ignoring and/or avoiding the investigation of tobacco industry fraud and false claims crimes across the country.

To The Staff of The Daily Campus & To All UConn Campus' Students,

With the continuing, upward spiral of tuition fees at both the main UConn campus and the other satellite campuses, the staff and the Executive Director of "The Shuster Project" at http://www.rxshuster.org/ invite you to review the over $300+ Million Dollars in combined defrauded CT state income tax revenues and defrauded CT state sales tax revenues resulting from tobacco industry fraud and false claims crimes that continue, unabated.

Although, since May 14th of 1999, "The Shuster Project" has brought this incredible sum of defrauded CT state tax revenues to the attention of CT's Governor, state and federal legislators, Attorney General and other elected and appointed officials who's job it is to investigate these tobacco industry crimes and to recover this huge sum on behalf of CT's citizens, including the students of UConn, these people have not lifted one finger or done one thing with respect to preventing the continuation of these crimes or to initiate the recovery of these moneys.

It goes without saying that the recovery of $300+ Million Dollars can go a long way to reducing the enormous CT state budget deficit and/or to fold a sizeable portion of any of the defrauded CT tax revenues that are recovered back into the education budget, thereby reducing or eliminating any tuition increases slated to go into effect soon.

We encourage The Daily Campus staff to visit the Award-winning "The Shuster Project" web site at; http://www.rxshuster.org/ and review the "correspondence" pages, specifically, and the "Press Release" and the "Petition," in general, to see the distance and the effort "The Shuster Project" staff has gone and continues to travel in order to get CT state legislators to act and to recover the well over $300+ Million Dollars in defrauded CT state tax revenues.

Sincerely,

RXShuster

Executive Director
